NRHA Youth League – traffic warning

This weekend (30th/1st) sees the next round of the NRHA Youth League for U13s, U15s, U17s and U20s.

This is the ECRHA teams vs the SECRHA teams, at Bushfields, Peterborough, first matches at 10am.

However this weekend is also Truckfest at the East of England Showground, Peterborough, which is pretty much next door to Bushfields. If its anything like previous years the traffic can be pretty horrendous. Depending on the time of day it queues back from the entrance on the roundabout near Bushfields all the way to the A1 junction 17 (Fletton Parkway – A1139) and beyond.

It looks like its not open to the public until 2:30pm on Saturday, so hopefully won’t be too bad, but Sunday is from 9:00am.

It may be worth going to the next junction off the A1139 Fletton Parkway (junction 2) and then following the local road (Goldhay Way) through Orton Goldhay, to the traffic lights at the cross roads (Pennington) just south Bushfields and the shops.
