Posted By Arthur Corr (Peterborough)
Arthur Corr with his neice ShannonPeterborough Roller Hockey Club would like to thank all those players who attended and or donated to the fundraising event.

The amount raised on the night was £500.00 which will be split evenly between the two charities Clic Sargent & The Teenage Cancer Trust.

The idea behind the fund raiser was to say thanks to those people who helped Shannon through her ordeal and to give something back so they can help other people.

Unfortunately Shannon had a relapse and was not able to attend as she was in Addenbrooke's hospital undergoing more treatment.

Teenage Cancer TrustClic Sargent Shannon was a player with Peterborough Roller Hockey Club before turning to dancing with the Posh All Stars cheerleaders. MarionMarion was involved with Colchester Roller Hockey Club for around 20 years. For the last 10 of those years, despite her illness, she was instrumental in keeping the Club going, as without her driving force the club would have folded..

Marion will be a great loss to the sport

Everyone who knew Marion, will be aware that she has been fighting with Cancer for many years and never gave in. She was a very brave lady.
